"Dear Ms. Wainscott,
I just wanted to take a moment of your time to express my gratitude for the outstanding program offered by your organization. My twin eight year old daughters, Samantha and Sydney, recently finished a two week swim camp at the Menasha Swimtastic Swim School. The outcome was spectuacular.
Let me give you a brief outline of our swimming history. We have spent the last four summers taking daily lessons at [name removed] in Winneconne. They run a Red Cross swimming course. Unfortunately, we reached a point where our girls were not progressing in their swimming but were rather regressing in that one of the instructor's behavior caused one of my daughters to develop a fear of deep water. They were instructed in treading water on the beach but not really in the water and when they went into the deep water and the girls got tired or felt uncomfortable, they were not allowed to get out or to go to where they could reach the bottom of the lake. This discomfort, as you can imagine, started the way for a dislike of the water and of swim classes in general.
Enter Swimtastic Swim School! I called the Menasha Swimtastics School and spoke with Mandy Ruys. I described my girls' progress in swim class; the lack of coordination of arm and leg strokes, and the deep water issue. She placed the girls in a level she felt would be appropriate and must have filled the teacher in on our situation. One day into their lessons and the girls were flying across the water and were having a blast.
The girls' instructor was Miss Wittney and she was fabulous. She gave the girls back their confidence and returned to them the joy of swimming. She helped them to coordinate their strokes so that they are really swimming quite well. Her interaction with them was fun yet instructive. They came away with more swimming success in two weeks than they received in four summers in the other program. Miss Wittney was awesome with them. She took what they already knew and helped them to figure out how to make the strokes really work. They were so proud of themselves and their success it was truly heart warming.
Besides the success of the swimming lessons, I was very impressed with the level of professionalism of the staff at this facility. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, helpful, polite, and very encouraging. I always felt very welcome and we were all treated with respect and a high level of courtesy. You might say that this is of course what you expect of your employees, however, it is not always what actually happens at a lot of places these days. The staff at this facility were always pleasant and always smiling.
